China (Nan'an) Shuitou International Stone Fair, a world-leading professional stone exhibition, has witnessed more than 20 years of development since its inception, growing from a local building materials fair to a global benchmark in the stone industry.
- 1999: The 1st Nan'an (National) Building Materials Trade Fair was held, marking the official birth of Shuitou Stone Fair. Nan'an was awarded the title of "Hometown of Building Materials".
- 2002: The Fair was renamed "International Stone Fair", officially starting its internationalization journey with enterprises from Italy, Spain, Iran and other major stone-producing countries participating.
- 2006: Officially named "China (Nan'an) Shuitou International Stone Fair", and fixed to be held annually on November 8-11, becoming an industry benchmark.
- 2009: Celebrated its 10th anniversary, with a comprehensive leap in scale, internationalization and professionalism.
- 2016: Moved to China Shuitou Stone Industry Exhibition & Operation Center as its permanent venue, upgrading its hardware and grade to a new level.
- Since 2017: Launched the "Stone Design Week", transforming from "selling stones" to "selling designs, spaces and solutions".
- 2020: Became the only large-scale offline stone exhibition held normally in the world, consolidating its position as the "World Stone Capital".
- Up to now: Having held more than 24 sessions, it is one of the largest and most influential professional stone exhibitions in the world, known as the "vane of the global stone industry".
